Caregiver Support Group @ by phone

Caregivers Phone Support Group

Thursdays 2 – 3 pm weekly by telephone conference call for free in partnership with Queensboro Council for Social Welfare.

This support group is for family members who have found themselves taking care of their aging loved ones. This group discusses caregiving issues and concerns in a supportive environment and offers tips to ease your stress, information on caregiver resources, and networking with other caregivers.

To register, send an email to events@cwny.org and write “Caregiver Support Group” in the subject line and your name, email, zip code and phone number in the body of the email. You will receive an email response with a phone registration appointment for Tuesdays or Thursdays 12:30 – 1:00 or 1:00 – 1:30 pm. Afterward, you will be provided with instructions on how to dial in to the weekly support group.

The Support Group is facilitated by a licensed social worker.

Work with certified ESL instructors to improve your English skills. Call us at (718) 793-0672 or email us at events@cwny.org to set up an assessment with one of our instructors.
