To register, send an email to [email protected] and write “Women in Crisis Support Group” in the subject line and your name, zip code and telephone number in the body of the email. You will be provided with instructions on how to dial in to the weekly support group.
The Women in Crisis Support Group is facilitated by licensed social workers. For the time being, the support group will meet by phone:
- Support Group Mondays 1-2 pm in partnership with Queensboro Council for Social Welfare
- Support Group Thursdays 7-8 pm with a bilingual Spanish-English social worker
- Individual Counseling Sessions by appointment with a bilingual Spanish-English social worker
When health regulations allow, the group will also meet in person at Queens Borough Hall, Kew Gardens and at Fort Totten Park, Bayside.
