Thursday, June 15 @ 10:00 – 11:30 AM: “Container gardening!” From Terracotta to plastic, we will plant up beautiful containers for the women’s center. Registrants will take home a small container as well.
Thursday, June 22 @ 10:00 – 11:30 AM: “All about pollinators!” Learn about which butterflies visit our garden and Fort Totten as we go searching for these beautiful & important pollinators!
Thursday, June 29 @ 10:00 – 11:30 AM: “Kids Gardening!” Bring the kids and let’s plant kid-friendly veggies & sweet-smelling flowers! Each child will take home one plant. Parent or guardian must be present.
Caregivers Phone Support Group
Thursdays 2 – 3 pm weekly by telephone conference call for free in partnership with Queensboro Council for Social Welfare.
For family members who have found themselves taking care of their aging loved ones. This group discusses caregiving issues and concerns in a supportive environment.

Conversational English as a Second Language (ESL)
Fridays 4 – 5 pm weekly by phone or Zoom videoconference during the coronavirus pandemic.
English Language Learners work with certified ESL instructors to improve your English skills. Please fill out our form and CWNY will contact you to schedule an assessment with one of our instructors.
