Thursday, December 7th: “Ground Covers” — From Evergreens to different types of mulch, let’s discuss an often-overlooked important part of our landscape.
Thursday, December 14th: “Garden tasks for December” — From extending the growing season with row covers to preparing the beds for winter.
Thursday, December 21st: “Winter Solstice walk” — Join us on the shortest day of the year as we celebrate the beginning of Winter! We’ll discuss what is a Solstice as we take a leisurely walk through Fort Totten.
Gardening & Sustainability Workshops will take a break in January 2024 and resume in February! Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays to all.
